Movie 43

Plot:  A series of interconnected short films follows a washed-up producer as he pitches insane story lines featuring some of the biggest stars in Hollywood.

Stars:

, ,

Ok, the best way to describe this movie is "remarkably fucking stupid."  If you have a juvenile sense of humor, think poop is hilarious, enjoy movies like Dumb and Dumber; this movie is for you!

It's basically The Ten but just full of wacky nonsensical skits.  Typically people give a minimum age recommendation like "no viewers under 18."  But I give this movie an upper range of age 40.  If you were born before the 70s, forget this movie.

The real draw of this film is it's cast.

Anna Faris
Chris Pratt
Common
Dennis Quaid
Ed Blythe
Elizabeth Banks
Emma Stone
Gerard Butler
Greg Kinnear
Halle Berry
Hugh Jackman
Jason Sudeikis
Johnny Knoxville
Justin Long
Kate Bosworth
Kate Winslet
Kristen Bell
Liev Schreiber
Naomi Watts
Richard Gere
Seann William Scott
Seth MacFarlane
Terrence Howard
Uma Thurman
Will Sasso

It's an absolute cavalcade of familiar hollywood faces making incest jokes and pranking blind children.

This movie is worth watching just for the shock factor alone, it's solo skits could be shown to someone piecemeal and it's one of those films that you can tell was made with the intent of just making the audience laugh.

There is no art here, just genius comedy for people that enjoy horribly absurd humor.  If Cards Against Humanity was a movie...it would be Movie 43.

5/5 STARS
